Taize Prayer Meeting

Around 20 students from S1-S6 were invited to join the Taize Prayer Meeting. It was held in the St Dominic Centre (room 508) with sitting mats and candles were set. Hamish, from S3A, helped play the guitar.

The atmosphere was very relax, religious and solemn as well. Students enjoyed a lot and even prayed voluntarily. There were mindfulness practice, meditation, readings and Taize psalms chanting.

After the meeting, students took initiative to help tidy up the room and it was very appreciated!

Many students at school, are actually able to meditate, to calm down. They are young people, with a lot of energy. Yet, they are just like other adults or kids. They need time going back to themselves, their own heart. Let’s give them such opportunities!
